Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: When does the booking need to be made?

A: All bookings need to be entered by the previous Saturday at 12pm. This is to ensure that the gym is staffed when required.

Q: What if I want to make a booking during the week?

A: If during the week you wish to do an impromptu session you may book in if there are spaces available in a time slot that has already got one or more bookings.

Q: Why do I have to book for my session online?

A: To make sure that everyone has access to the equipment and to prevent overcrowding. This also allows you to get personalised attention if you require it.

Q: Why are there only 9 slots per hour?

A: To ensure that everyone gets time on the machines there is a maximum of 9 gym goers allowed at any time.

Q: How long is each session?

A: Sessions are booked out in 1 hour slots. You don't have to stay for the entire time.

Q: Oops. I've made a booking but I can't make it. What do I do?

A: That's OK. You have the ability to edit or delete any bookings you make. Just go here to reschedule your booking or here to delete it. The important thing is that you make sure you do turn up or reschedule it.

Q: What happens if I miss a booking?

A: To make sure that everyone has equal oppurtunity to the equipment if you miss 3 bookings, your membership will be revoked. It's unfair to the other gym goers if sessions are being booked out but not utilised.

How To: Book a Session

  1. Click on the 'Book Gym Session' link.


  2. Select the date you want to book for. The page automatically loads with the current date. For a future date click on the Go To Day After >> link until you reach the date you want.



  3. Select the time and session you want to book.



  4. Enter in the membership number and password you recieved upon joining Holt Fitness.



  5. Confirm that it's the date and time you want to book (your membership number and name is automatically entered) and press Save.



  6. Your session is now booked.



  7. Turn up for your session and sign the registration book.

How To: Edit (or Reschedule) a Session

  1. Click on the 'Book Gym Session' link.


  2. Press the Log in button


  3. Enter in the membership number and password you recieved upon joining Holt Fitness.



  4. Select session you want to edit.



  5. Your session will be displayed on the screen. Click on Edit Booking.



  6. Change the date or time of the session and press Save.





  7. Your session is now rescheduled.



  8. Turn up for your session and sign the registration book.

How To: Delete a Session

  1. Click on the 'Book Gym Session' link.


  2. Press the Log in button


  3. Enter in the membership number and password you recieved upon joining Holt Fitness.



  4. Select session you want to delete.



  5. Your session will be displayed on the screen. Click on Delete Entry.



  6. Press OK to delete booking.



  7. Your session been deleted.
